Welcome to Hope Sparks Substack. This week I’m diving into :
Meeting an epic client in real life after working with him for 6 months online. He lives in Fargo and invited me to attend his first conference. Yes, Fargo was even more memorable than the movie!
I attended an AI conference. Not sure about AI? Are you waiting for it to just go away? I’m afraid that’s not happening. If it’s here to stay, I want you to meet community minded humans on a mission to support real people to do more of what matters with the aid of AI. Scroll down.
Spotlight - on my brother’s latest project. Yes, he’s noodling AI. This time offering kids a wormhole to adventure into their imaginations.
Unearthing a lit community in Fargo, North Dakota
I coach the brilliant CEO of the fast-growing AI company Chipp.ai.
If you haven't heard of them, put them on your radar. They’re one to watch.
Meet Scott Meyer. Integrating AI can be daunting, and its benefits aren’t always obvious. Scott, the co-founder and CEO of Chipp.ai, believes everyone can use AI effectively. As an AI educator and consultant, he has helped over 70,000 Chipp users and worked with businesses of all sizes to harness AI.
Scott is more than just an AI consultant; he’s a dad of four, CEO, builder, tech enthusiast, and exceptional educator. I think of him as a friendly human force in the AI space. He and his team align AI processes with your core values, business model, and team skills. As Scott says, “Technology should support and enhance human roles, not replace them.”
Attending the Chipp.ai Conference in Fargo last week was an enlightening experience that underscored the power of community, creativity, and a touch of the unexpected. Here are my key takeaways from this remarkable event:
Community Matters
The conference was a melting pot of diverse minds, with participants aged 13 to 63 traveling from places as far-flung as Germany and Los Angeles. The positive, curious vibe was palpable as people eagerly helped each other share and build. This ethos of collaboration is what makes Chipp.ai truly special.
In line with this, Chipp.ai is excited to announce the launch of Chipp Chapters across campuses and countries. These Chapters will foster local communities of creators and innovators.
Never Underestimate the Creativity of Others
Chipp.ai empowers users to explore their ideas using AI. The creativity unleashed during the event was beyond expectations. From travel guides to financial stock pickers, the ingenuity on display was astounding. A standout moment was a 13-year-old super user who learned to code during the event and created Chipp Chats!
Leverage Weird
Hosting Chipp Con alongside TEDxFargo and the Night Bazaar led to the serendipitous creation of the Entrepreneurs Bazaar. Fargo’s unique charm added a memorable twist, proving that a sprinkle of weird can lead to wonderful, unexpected connections.
Team Spirit
A heartfelt shoutout to Hunter Hodnett, Cole Robertson, Serj Solarpunk Hunt, and Jofo Domingo. Their dedication and passion for helping humans do what matters were evident throughout the week.
A testament to the power of community, creativity, and a little bit of Fargo magic.
The Chipp.ai Conference was a HUGE success. It’s an exciting time to be part of this journey, and I invite you all to join in building, creating, and doing more of what matters.
